The survey, which polled 1,000 eight to 11-year-olds, also found that children are much more likely to recognise 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' stars Ant and Dec than they are Gordon Brown.

Just 79 per cent could identify the current Prime Minister from a photo, compared to the 94 per cent that recognised the TV hosts.

While 93 per cent of the children polled recognised football hero David Beckham and 85 per cent picked out pop star Britney Spears, nearly 41 per cent failed to put a name to the face of Tory leader David Cameron.

The survey also found that nearly ten per cent of the youngsters confused a picture of US presidential candidate Barack Obama with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

This isn't the first evidence that key figures in modern history are being forgotten about. Last month a team of scholars caused a stir when they compiled a list of the most important people and events in British history for TV's History Channel.

Winston Churchill along with Queen Victoria, Florence Nightingale and Sir Walter Raleigh were not included in the list, however The Beatles were. Is it any wonder Britain's children don't know much about our historical greats?

The deal is that when I was asked to name the two new stallions I've got a few weeks ago...when my mum's friend asked me what am I going to call them...I just said the first 2 things that came into my mind.,.Sweet Revenge and Black Parade...
One of the 2 horses happened to be a raven black one...so I settled with the two names...with my black one christianed Black Parade...and the other one christianed Sweet Revenge...
I remember when I said the name out loud...my mom's friend was looking @ my mom with an expression of curiosity on her face, while my sister just rolled her eyes...knowing what Sweet Revenge and Black Parade stand for... My sister knows that I absolutely loves My Chemical Romance, and she was fine with it...but recently she said to me that now naming 2 pets in the honour of the MCR albums...shows that I'm becoming too obsessed??? It sounded like a huge problem for me...(the whole idea of being too obsessed...) and I've been wondering lately do I need any help @ all...
While my friends had been saying to me to stick to my original plan & stick to the naming the 2 horses after MCR's albums...they also said that Sweet Revenge and Black Parade are wicked cool names and that it's healthy to have an obsession??? o_O

On the 31st May 08, an uprising had been planned by all the U.K MCR fans in a protest the narrow-minded British media's unmeaningful treatment of the famous NJ quintet.

Due to the recent court case of a 13-years-old girl---Hannah Bond's suicide, (who at the same time happened to be an avid MCR fan) had been claimed to be due to the whole "emo" thing...blaming & accusing MCR for her tragic suicide. (Hannah Bond had also previously claimed to her parents and friends that she will kill herself to join the black parade in her afterlife...)

All the newspapers & magazines in the U.K---especially The Daily Mail,The Daily Telegraph and The Sun, (which by the way all had a reputation for over-sensationalism...) had been focusing their narrow-mindedness onto Gerard Way & co., for their emotional, 'moody', dark musics and lyrics which had turned the NJ quintet into superstars and heroes among all the 'emo' youths today.

Later this month, with the uprising march in protest onto London planned...hundreds and hundreds of MCR fans are expected to turn up at London's Hyde Park and march to the offices of Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, to show all our displeasure of having our heroes being blamed for the things they didn't do.

& I will be there...

P.S: Hannah Bond's parents claimed in court that they did 'A LOT OF RESEARCH' into "emo"...and found the lyrics extremely dark, freaky and depressing...they are clearly blaming MCR and other so-called 'emo' bands for Hannah's suicide...

Well...I wonder how and what did they mean by 'research'??? I have to say I partly blame the parents...I mean...seriously...if your kids had been telling you several times that she will kill herself...I'd keep a much closer look on her...not letting her kill herself... Her parents should have been keeping a closer eye on her self-harming cuts and pay more attention to the 13-years-old kid.

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has spoken directly to fans about the problem of anti-emo related violence in Mexico.

Tensions have escalated in the country over recent months with a series of reported attacks against people who have “an emo look”. 

Addressing the audience at Zero Fest in Mexico City last Saturday (April 12th), Way said the band no longer wanted to see “any fucking violence”.

“I want to say something today before we continue. Recently we’ve been hearing a lot of stuff about some violence here in your country having to do with kids who want to wear black t-shirts…or some kind of bulls— stuff like that,” Way told the crowd.

“We don’t want to see any fucking violence. We came here for one reason, and that’s to be at the fucking rock show.”

Would you believe it if I told you that an 8 yrs old boy chucked his dog outside the window to see if it can fly???

Well...it in fact did happened...

I have a friend---Liza, she has a really crazy psycho younger brother who’s 8 yrs old, he once actually, physically chucked his own dog outside the windows to see if it can fly...He then himself...jumped out of the window to see if he can fly...

(Bear it in mind that they live on the third floor of an apartment building...)
